How to make a financial contribution:

    One-Time Donations

    Make a one-time gift online or by calling our Development Department at (212) 496-4345. You can also send a check made payable to “VOA-Greater New York” to:

      Recurring Donations

      The Sustainers Circle is a program for our most committed supporters. Automatic monthly donations can be made with a credit card or bank account deduction. Click “monthly gift” here, or call (212) 496-4345.

      Tribute Gifts

      Make a gift to VOA-Greater New York to pay tribute to a loved one on a special date, such as an anniversary or graduation, or give a gift In Memoriam, by selecting “yes” for “Is this an honor/memorial gift?” on our donation page.

      Stocks

      Gifts of appreciated securities (stocks) are a popular alternative to making a cash gift as they may offer you additional tax advantages. In addition to receiving an income tax deduction for the full market value of the securities, you may also avoid capital gains on the appreciation of your stocks. If your donated securities are used to fund a charitable trust or gift annuity there may be estate and gift tax advantages as well. To make such a gift, do not sell the stock and donate the proceeds, as this will jeopardize your tax benefits. Instead, notify your broker and contact the Development Team at (212) 496-4345 for the account numbers in order to make an electronic transfer.

      Donor-advised funds

      If you have established a donor-advised fund, please consider recommending a contribution to VOA-Greater New York. Contributions can be for general support or for a specific program. Contributions can be mailed to VOA-Greater New York, 135 West 50th Street, 9th Floor, New York, NY 10020. Please contact the Development Team at (212) 496-4345 or donor@voa-gny.org for the account numbers if you prefer to make an electronic transfer or would like further information.
