Wendy Williams and Snax-Sational Brands Support Operation Backpack® With Giving Tuesday Event

Wendy Williams and SNAX-Sational Brands hosted an event at Dylan's Candy Bar in New York City on December 3, 2019⁠ — Giving Tuesday ⁠— in support of Operation Backpack®, a community service of Volunteers of America-Greater New York. Paige Davis, celebrity spokesperson for Operation Backpack®, was in attendance.

Operation Backpack® ensures that every child living in a homeless shelter in New York City who needs one, has a new backpack filled with top-quality, grade-specific school supplies before the first day of school. By having it in their hands ahead of time, students can begin to feel excited about returning to the classroom and avoid the stigma that comes with being homeless from day one.

The event kicked off a campaign during which all proceeds from the online sale of SNAX-Sational Brands' Snack Pop and Pasta Snacks will benefit Operation Backpack® 2020. The campaign runs until January 31, 2020.
