VOA-Greater New York Receives $200,000 Grant from The New York Community Trust

We are delighted to announce that Volunteers of America-Greater New York has received a $200,000 grant from The New York Community Trust to fund our outcomes evaluation work. This grant will provide the staffing and other resources to allow us to determine which of our programs and services are most effective at mitigating the effects of poverty, increasing opportunity, and helping clients to achieve their desired long-term outcomes such as permanent housing, employment and education.

The Trust made this grant, in part, from a bequest from LuEsther Mertz, a founder of Publishers Clearing House and a generous philanthropist to support arts, cultural, environmental and human rights organizations.
