A MESSAGE ABOUT VOLUNTEERING & COVID-19

In light of the COVID-19 situation and our priority to ensure the safety of our clients, staff and volunteers, in-person volunteer activities scheduled to take place at VOA-GNY program sites are postponed. We look forward to rescheduling projects just as soon as we safely can.

When Volunteers of America was founded in 1896, a "volunteer" was someone whose vocation was to serve others through a commitment to a mission. Today, though we are staffed by paid professionals, we rely on the generosity of volunteers to help engage our clients and build thriving communities.

We have individual volunteer opportunities across the metropolitan area. Share your time and talents with us and help enrich the lives of men, women and children in need.
